Pricing FAQ
Six things finance teams ask first.
Is there really a free tier?
Yes. 30 days, no card. You see read-only top-10 underwater drugs, your 30-day claim window, and no appeal drafting. If you don't see anything worth paying for, walk away.
What does "per location" mean?
One pharmacy address = one location. Multi-location chains pay per address; we don't bill per seat or per pharmacist. Pro+ is designed for small chains where this matters.
Can I cancel?
Anytime. Self-serve in Settings → Billing. No phone retention scripts, no "are you sure" dark patterns. We'd rather lose you cleanly than keep you reluctantly.
Do you offer annual billing?
Not currently. Monthly only — keeps the math simple and lets you cancel any month. If your finance team needs a single annual invoice, email [email protected].
What about HIPAA / SOC 2?
MarkupRx doesn't process PHI — we only read public federal datasets and your pharmacy's de-identified claim aggregates. Formal SOC 2 / HIPAA work is on the roadmap as we sign Pro+ pharmacies that require BAAs. Today: AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, no data sharing or sale.
I have a quote from another vendor — can you match?
Probably. Email [email protected] with what they're charging and what's in scope. We don't have a sales team, so the answer comes back fast.
Ten minutes to know.
Read the report. Draft an appeal. Renegotiate a contract. Cancel if it isn't worth it.
